Fira is the capital of Santorini island, situated on the west coast of the island on the caldera cliff.

In Fira you can enjoy the most beautiful views of Santorini and also you can see the traditional market with shops and cafes and visit popular sights such as the archaeological museum, Gyzis Mansion and the museum of Prehistoric Thira with unique findings from the excavation site at Akrotiri.

From the old port of Fira the boats depart for the volcano and excursions for sunset.
You can take the cable car to visit the old port of Santorini or   you can ride a donkey.

Within walking distance from our suites is the main square with several restaurants, cafes and bars with an unforgettable view. In the main square you can also find the taxi station, bus station and banks.

From the bus station you can take a bus to any beach or village and the frequency of departure is about every 15 minutes.

The town is located 5km away from the main port of Santorini (Athinios port) and 4km from the Santorini International Airport.

The village of Oia, with its popular sunset, is 6km away. Perissa which is famous for  its black sand is 7km away from Fira.
